More Than a Website
Building the product and the community around it

I worked directly with residents, recreation leadership, and local stakeholders through phone calls, public meetings, petition outreach, neighborhood networks, and social communities. The digital product became the hub connecting every participation channel.

Listening Changed the Product
From amenities to what people should be able to do

Early versions focused heavily on physical pool amenities. Conversations shifted the work toward a more useful question: what should people be able to do at the new aquatic center?

“What should people be able to do at the new aquatic center?”

That insight made programming—swim lessons, lap swimming, senior fitness, therapy, recreation, water safety, and youth programs—the foundation of the experience.
